Earlier this month, on June 5, the UnCruise Adventure small ship Wilderness Discoverer was operating in Glacier Bay National Park with 78 passengers and crew members aboard when a small fire in the engine room ended the vessel's planned voyage. Fortunately, no injuries occurred, and UnCruise was able to safely and quickly disembark 51 passengers and 17 crewmembers with the help of other vessels that were in the area. Ten members of the UnCruise crew remained aboard the Wilderness Discoverer, which then was towed to the Ketchikan Shipyard.
