KETCHIKAN (Your Alaska Link) - The port duty section with the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Ketchikan was recently recognized for its efforts in July. The crew transported the captain of a fishing vessel from a southern point in our area of responsibility back to Ketchikan. The captain was able to receive care, potentially saving his life.
