News Home Photo from USDA Forest Service Thorne Bay, Alaska (KINY) - Beginning Jul. 21, the public can provide their input and perspective on a more detailed draft of the Prince of Wales Landscape Level Analysis Project (POW LLA) 2023 Invasives Treatment Plan. The 14-day comment period will end Aug. 4, 2023. Proposed invasive plant treatments for 2023 were presented and discussed during POW LLA's Spring 2023 workshop, and the associated 30-day public comment period. In response to comments received during that process, the Craig & Thorne Bay Ranger District staff amended the POW LLA Invasives Treatment Plan to provide additional detail and site-specific maps for clarity.
