(Eric Stone/KRBD) Ketchikan's police chief has been charged with felony assault in connection with an alleged incident in September, according to court records. Ketchikan Police Chief Jeff Walls faces one felony charge and five misdemeanor charges. The most serious charge is third-degree assault — injuring someone with a dangerous instrument. He's also charged with fourth-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
